Cambodia has gone through five names since 1953, with the most recent being The Khmer Republic.
Since 1993, the name has gained some stability and is unlikely to change again. The average age of the population is under 15, with around 50% under 15 and 60% below 30.

North Laos is a country known for its natural wonders, such as caves, lakes, waterfalls, and lush greenery. It is home to giant stone jars estimated to date between 500 BC and AD 200, and experts suggest that humans have inhabited this region for over 45,000 years.
During the Vietnam War, over two billion tonnes of bombs were dropped in Laos, making it the world’s most bombed country.
Meals are often made of sticky rice and coffee is its biggest export. Buddhism is the biggest religion in the country, with Theravada Buddhism accounting for 67% of the population and animism also practiced.
Visitors can visit the jungles to witness some of the wildest animals in Laos, such as gibbons, deer, tigers, black bears, leopards, and wild dogs.
The Khone Papeng is the largest waterfall in all of Southeast Asia and is a perfect backdrop for taking beautiful photos. The Nam Kan National Park has some of the tallest treehouses in the world.
